Biography
Julie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works in our Waterloo office. She has had the privilege of working with diverse populations in a County Clinical Mental Health setting as well as in the private sector. She has worked with individuals, families and groups with age ranges across the lifespan.
Julie feels the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change. She believes aligning with a therapist you trust is a courageous first step. She will walk alongside and support you with an empathic, nonjudgmental presence providing safety and comfort to work through challenges and promote personal change.
She utilizes a wealth of evidenced-based therapies including Person-Centered, Strength-Based, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Brainspotting. She integrates the myriad of therapies and interventions to meet specialized individual needs. She welcomes a challenge and looks forward to teaming up with you for success.
