Biography
Nikki (she/her) is a mental health counselor working out of the West Des Moines office who works with individuals 8 and older experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. Nikki strives to create a safe space for clients to feel seen and heard. She wants every client to feel valued and respected. Nikki enjoys working with individuals experiencing a variety of life
adjustments and mental health concerns. She has previous experience as a substance abuse counselor and working with survivors of trauma.
Nikki utilizes a variety of trauma-informed, person-centered techniques in session including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness training. Nikki believes that it is a privilege to walk alongside her clients as they journey to healing. She wants her office to be a safe space to experience both laughter and tears. She believes everyone is worthy of growth and healing and that going to therapy is truly an act of self-love.
