Biography

Rosario (She/her/hers) is a bilingual (Spanish / English) clinical mental health counselor based in our Waterloo office who works with clients with different presenting concerns. Rosario utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches including problem-solving, trauma-informed care, relational-cultural therapy, strength-based, person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.

Rosario has worked with individuals ranging from 12 years of age into adulthood. Previously she worked with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. She strives to foster an open-minded and supportive environment to help clients overcome difficulties and develop healthy habits and coping mechanisms to live a healthy life.
