Alex (she/her/hers) is a mental health counselor based in the West Des Moines office, offering in-person and Telehealth sessions for individuals 18 and older. She has worked in hospital inpatient settings, supporting patients through anticipatory grief, adjustment disorder, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and stress. Alex draws from an Existential-Humanistic approach, which focuses on helping people explore meaning, values, and personal growth in order to build a stronger sense of self and resilience. She values creating a therapeutic and comfortable environment, using humor and compassion to connect with clients.
