Alexandra Buckingham, tLMHC, is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults. She has experience helping clients navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment challenges, interpersonal difficulties, anger, and substance use. Alexandra has worked in community based settings, facilitating individual and group sessions that help clients build skills and discover their strengths.

She approaches therapy through a humanistic, person centered lens, believing clients are the experts of their own lives. Her goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. Alexandra draws from a range of therapeutic tools including cognitive behavioral, mindfulness based, trauma informed, and dialectical behavior strategies, as well as motivational interviewing, tailoring her approach to each client while prioritizing a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Outside of counseling, Alexandra enjoys hiking, camping, biking, and spending time with her dog, Harvey.
