Annie is a Licensed Master Social Worker practicing in our Cedar Rapids office who works with children, adolescents, and families facing a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. She is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel safe, heard, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Annie believes that every individual has unique strengths and experiences, and she strives to provide client-centered care that meets each person where they are.

Annie has experience working in a variety of mental health and community-based settings, including psychiatric care, crisis services, youth shelter services, and family support programs. These experiences have strengthened her passion for supporting children and adolescents with trauma histories, emotional regulation difficulties, family conflict, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Annie values building strong therapeutic relationships and helping clients develop healthy coping skills, resilience, confidence, and emotional insight.

Annie utilizes a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach while integrating evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. She believes therapy should be individualized, collaborative, and empowering, and she is committed to helping clients and families work toward meaningful and lasting growth.
