Brittany Pernell (she/her) was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa. She is a Temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC) with over seven years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings and roles, supporting individuals and families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. Brittany is especially passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and individuals who may feel overlooked, misunderstood, or impacted by systemic barriers. She believes that life experiences and circumstances can significantly shape a person’s path, but that everyone deserves the opportunity, support, and resources needed to grow, heal, and thrive.
Much of Brittany’s work has centered on helping clients manage anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the unique stressors that come with navigating today’s world. Most recently, she served as a Multi-systemic Therapy (MST) therapist, providing in-home support to strengthen family relationships, address behavioral concerns, and promote lasting positive change. Brittany is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental space where clients can come exactly as they are. She believes authenticity, on both sides of the therapeutic relationship, is essential to meaningful progress and overall wellness. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and live a fulfilling life.
