Caita (she/her) is a clinical social worker at our West Des Moines location providing therapy for children, adolescents, and emerging adults. She has experience working in pediatric inpatient behavioral health and providing school-based therapy, supporting young people and families navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges. Caita takes a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy. She believes meaningful change happens when clients and families feel understood, supported, and actively involved in the process. Her work integrates developmentally appropriate techniques such as play-based and sand tray–informed practices along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs.

Caita has a clinical focus on disruptive behaviors, trauma, anxiety, depression, DMDD, ADHD, OCD, and other neurodivergent presentations. She is particularly passionate about helping young people build emotional regulation skills, strengthen their sense of identity, and develop practical tools for managing difficult thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Caita also works closely with caregivers to incorporate parenting strategies that support progress and growth outside of sessions. Caita works with clients ages 3–25.
