Dylann (she/they) is a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC) who has worked with a variety of populations including survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, homelessness, acute inpatient psychiatric care, and crisis counseling. Dylann works with individuals 10+ who are navigating depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, family connection, anxiety, and more. Dylann takes a trauma-informed, mind-body approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, Somatic based practices, and Mindfulness. Dylann believes understanding the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and bodies can create greater awareness and meaningful change.
Dylann views the therapeutic experience as collaborative and centered on developing awareness, curiosity, and self-understanding. Dylann invites individuals to explore what is happening in the present moment, notice patterns, and become more aware of how they experience themselves and their environment. Dylann strives to create a safe, supportive, nonjudgemental space where individuals can build insight, recognize their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and work towards meaningful change.
