Biography

Gloria (she/her) is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) based in the Iowa City office. She works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Gloria is especially passionate about supporting people during times of change or uncertainty, when life may feel overwhelming, confusing, or simply “off track.”

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Gloria creates a supportive space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves while exploring patterns of worry, self-doubt, overthinking, or feeling stuck. She integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, build practical coping skills, and move toward what matters most to them.

Gloria believes meaningful change can begin with small steps. Her goal is to help clients build greater confidence, resilience, and self-trust while creating a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
