Hello! My name is Hector De la Cruz. I am in my second year of the Master of Social Work program on the clinical track at the University of Iowa. Growing up, I have always loved interacting with people, whether through conversation or by helping others. With my background in Human Development and Family Studies, I hope to work in the counseling and therapy industry, serving as a resource and aid to those going through hard times, especially in underserved communities. Some hobbies I enjoy in my free time include spending time with friends and loved ones, working on cars, or listening to music! I am a major Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoy watching collegiate wrestling. I am excited to start at Green Counseling Services and very excited to meet everyone! Feel free to reach out and say hi!
