With a professional background in juvenile justice, public education, and athletics, Ja'Korey brings a systems-aware, trauma-informed approach to care that resonates with young people from diverse backgrounds. He supports clients in addressing a wide range of concerns, including life transitions, trauma, behavioral issues in youth, parent-child conflict, and race-based trauma. His therapeutic style is rooted in cultural sensitivity and a deep commitment to meeting clients where they are, emotionally and developmentally.

As a former athlete and coach, Ja'Korey has a deep understanding of the mental and emotional pressures that come with competitive sports. He is passionate about supporting athletes as they manage performance anxiety, recover from injury, cope with stress, and explore their identity beyond the game. His work bridges the gap between mental health and athletic performance, helping clients build resilience and confidence both on and off the field. With several years of experience in the juvenile justice system, Ja’Korey has developed a deep understanding of the challenges young people face as they navigate the complexities of the juvenile court system. Ja’Korey works to empower youth to overcome barriers, make positive choices, and build pathways toward success.
