Jenna Briasco (she/they) is a graduate intern based in Iowa City, pursuing a Master's in Clinical Social Work at the University of Iowa. Jenna supports individuals by contextualizing life, clarifying personal values, and finding balance. Through her background in social work, community mental health, and general life experience, Jenna has developed a root cause approach to understanding life and its stressors, often exploring themes like personal identity, life transitions, grief/loss, and the mind-body axis. She utilizes components of acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and dialectical behavior therapy to provide trauma-informed, individualized care. Jenna welcomes adults of all ages and backgrounds.
