Biography
Kate (she/her/hers) is a mind-body therapist specializing in trauma-informed care and the connection between psychological and physical well-being. Integrating cultural humility and psychosomatic perspectives, she draws on specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Yoga for the Mind, and 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training to bridge neuroscience, psychology, and mind-body awareness in the therapeutic process. Kate integrates evidence-based and somatic practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), yogic philosophy, breathwork, and meditation, to support clients in cultivating self-understanding, emotional regulation, resilience, and meaningful change.
Kate works with individuals aged 14 and older navigating complex trauma, medical trauma, chronic pain, LGBTQIA+ identity exploration, spiritual or intuitive experiences, major life transitions, perfectionism, grief, dissociation, self-harm, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and depression. Grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and compassion, she views therapy as a collaborative partnership that honors each client’s lived experience. She develops individualized care that reflects each client’s unique needs, values, strengths, and goals.
