Biography
Kendra (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and support. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, PTSD, low self-esteem, stress, life transitions, and grief and loss.
Kendra believes that therapy is a collaborative process and strives to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, accepted, and empowered. She understands that everyone's story is unique and believes that gaining insight into how past experiences and current circumstances shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors can be a powerful step toward healing and growth.
Kendra's approach is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth. She values building meaningful relationships with her clients and brings empathy, kindness, and humor into sessions whenever it feels helpful. She utilizes techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy to meet each individual where they are. Together, you'll work to build practical coping skills, increase self-understanding/compassion, and create meaningful changes that align with the life you want to live.
