Parth (he/him) is a mental health counselor based in our Iowa City office. He brings experience working with youth and adults across non-profit, K–12 school, and outpatient settings. Most recently, he served as Youth Mobile Crisis Program Coordinator at CommUnity Crisis Services, supporting young people in urgent need. Parth works with clients ages 16 and up, including older adults. He has a special interest in supporting college students, men, and clients of color navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, suicidal ideation, and trauma. He also enjoys working with student-athletes, LGBTQ+ clients, and individuals managing perfectionism or high-achieving tendencies. He approaches therapy as a space for honest reflection, emotional awareness, and meaningful change—tailoring his approach to each client’s values, strengths, and goals. Parth believes growth begins when we slow down, listen inward, and speak openly—with compassion and quiet courage. His work integrates mindfulness, psychoeducation, strengths-based practices, and somatic tools like grounding and breathwork. He’s guided by values of empowerment, autonomy, and authenticity. Parth considers himself a generalist and draws from multiple approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, CBT, ACT, solution-focused therapy, multicultural-feminist counseling, and person-centered care. Outside of Green, Parth enjoys tennis, film, cycling, yoga, and spending time with friends.
