Victoria is a Licensed Master Social Worker based in our Iowa City office that is passionate about working with children and adolescents (4-18). She has experience in a variety of settings, including residential treatment (PMIC), school-based therapy, and Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS). Through these roles, Victoria has supported youth from diverse backgrounds facing a range of challenges such as Anxiety, Depression, self-harm, Trauma, life transitions, ADHD, behavioral concerns, and more. Her work is guided by the belief that every child deserves a space where they feel safe, understood, and free to be themselves.

Victoria’s approach is grounded in person-centered and trauma-informed care. She is committed to meeting children where they are, both emotionally and developmentally, and strives to build trusting relationships that honor each child’s pace and process. She creates a non-judgmental, supportive environment that encourages authentic expression and emotional connection.

Play therapy is at the core of Victoria’s work, offering children a developmentally appropriate way to process their thoughts and feelings. She also integrates elements of other therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic processing to meet the unique needs of each child and always keeping their well-being and growth at the center.
