Higher Level of Care (HLOC) Services
When standard outpatient care is insufficient for stabilization of mental health symptoms higher level of care resources become crucial in order to reach treatment goals. Green Counseling Services offers a variety of higher level of care (HLOC) programs. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our team if you feel that you would be a good candidate for any of the following programs.

Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program

Our Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program is a comprehensive intensive outpatient experience which integrates multidisciplinary care from our therapy, medical, and dietitian team. Our team utilizes empirically supported treatment techniques for the treatment of eating disorders. This program is open to adults over the age of 18 who have a clinical eating disorder that is appropriate for treatment in an Intensive Outpatient Program.
The Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) will meet on Monday - Thursday for 12 hours per week starting on October 20th, 2025. The typical treatment duration is 12 weeks for a total of 144 hours of treatment but this may vary based upon symptom severity and client needs. The ED IOP is offered virtually and onsite depending on the participant’s needs.
The format of the program is 9 hours of weekly group therapy (offered either virtually or in person), 1 hour of weekly medical monitoring and psychoeducation, and laboratory testing (if medically indicated) with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), 1 hour of individual therapy with a Licensed Therapist, and 1 hour of individual nutritional therapy with a Registered Dietitian. We use an integrative approach which incorporates leading empirically supported treatments to address key etiological risk factors. Our interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Enhanced, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Exposure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
Why is effective treatment of eating disorders important?
An estimated 9% of the U.S. population, or 28.8 million Americans, will have an eating disorder in their lifetime.
We are here to help.
15% of women will suffer from an eating disorder by their 40s or 50s, but only 27% receive any treatment for it.
We want to change that.
