Lexi Gause, LMSW (she/her/hers), is based in the West Des Moines office. As a clinical social worker, Lexi has experience working with young children, teens, and young adults across a variety of settings. Lexi’s work is rooted in supporting clients through a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, personality disorders, OCD, adjustment disorders, trauma, college-related stress, and behavioral challenges in youth. Lexi is also deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care through a multicultural counseling lens, recognizing the unique experiences and identities each client brings.

Lexi’s therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions. When working with children, Lexi incorporates play therapy to help them express themselves in developmentally appropriate and engaging ways.

Lexi strives to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. Lexi believes in meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them as they navigate their challenges, build on their strengths, and work toward their personal goals. Above all, Lexi is committed to empowering clients in their journey toward healing, self-discovery, and lasting growth. Lexi offers both in-person and telehealth sessions to individuals aged 6 and up.
