Maddie (she/hers) is a mental health professional in the Iowa City location. She embraces all walks of life and identities in her practice. Maddie is committed to developing positive relationships with clients, ensuring her approaches are tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. She sees clients as the experts of their own lives and believes her role to be a guide; bringing an objective, outside perspective. Maddie’s professional background includes school social work where she supported staff, students, and families. She has various experience working with both neurotypical and neurodivergent adults as well as children (ages 2+). Maddie uses evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Neurodivergent Affirming Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions-focused Therapy, Strength-based Therapy, Trauma-informed Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
